Tianyi Welding has donated one million yuan to the “Pan Jiemang Education Fund” of Xiangtan University.

On the morning of September 9th, during the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of Xiangtan University’s establishment, the “Pan Jiluan Education Fund” was inaugurated and the donation ceremony for the Tianyi Welding Scholarship was held successfully at the Mechanical College of Xiangtan University. Academician Pan Jiluan from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Vice President Ning Jianmin of Xiangtan University, Mr. Ye Mingqiang, the founder of Tianyi Welding and the president of Aerospace Kai Tian Environmental Protection, and Ms. Huang Lixin, the chairman of Tianyi Welding, all attended this donation ceremony.
At the ceremony, Academician Pan Jiluan and Vice President Liao Yong’an jointly inaugurated the “Pan Jiluan Education Fund”.
Huang Lixin, the chairman of Tianyi Welding, and Ning Jianmin, the vice president of Xiangtan University, signed an agreement for the donation of the “Tianyi Welding Scholarship”. Tianyi Welding donated 1 million yuan to the “Pan Jiluan Education Fund”, becoming the first donor company of this fund. The funds will be fully used for the construction of the “Pan Jiluan Academician Class” at Xiangtan University and the rewards for the students of the “Pan Jiluan Academician Class”.
At the ceremony, Mr. Ye Mingqiang, the founder of Tianyi Welding, delivered a speech. As an alumnus of the welding department of Xiangtan University, he hoped that the establishment of the scholarship would encourage and support the cultivation, academic innovation and engineering application of outstanding talents in the welding field at Xiangtan University.
Academician Pan Jiluan highly praised the donation made by Tianyi Welding. As the director of the expert guidance committee of the Hunan Engineering Research Center for Welding Automation Equipment jointly established by Tianyi Welding and Xiangtan University, Mr. Pan has always shown great attention and support to Tianyi Welding Group. He encouraged Tianyi Welding to keep striving and make greater contributions to “Made in China 2025”.
Professor Pan encouraged more outstanding students to work diligently, remain calm and composed, strive to broaden their horizons and enhance their innovation capabilities, and contribute to China’s welding industry.
Ms. Huang Lixin, who graduated from the welding department of Xiangtan University, has also called on the current students present here to carry forward and inherit the excellent qualities of dedication and selfless service of Academician Pan Jiluan. She encouraged everyone to attach importance to practical innovation and regard the welding industry as a lifelong pursuit and passion. Besides scholarships, Tianyi Welding is also willing to provide assistance and support for students’ practical innovation!
